ProCare Carpet Cleaning was operated for many years before being purchased in 1991 by Wendy Kissel.  Wendy was able to build a customer base of 500 and building that to a database of over 6500 customers.   When considering selling the business, the search was on for the best fit for the thriving company.   When Russell Mikesell approached Wendy with interest in acquiring ProCare, she immediately knew he was the perfect person to take over. Which started the transition to Mikesell’s ProCare Services.

  5. Guarantee. Due to the nature of certain stains, it is not possible to guarantee total color/texture restoration. Factors of installation, deterioration and household cleaners that are disguised cannot be predicted in the hands of the most careful workman. Some stains such as ink, dyes, paint, pet staining, and odors cannot be removed, in which case a repair can be made for an additional charge. We will gladly re-clean any area you’re not happy with if the above circumstances do not apply.

Within a few years with an emphasis on proprietary maintenance programs for salons, medical facilities, restaurants, hotels & schools we took off soaring into an untapped market for commercial clientele. The goal was to offer a one stop shop for all facilities needs. I pride myself on stone restoration & maintenance programs which are services that our company also offers. Michelle VonStein-Mikesell, VP of Operations: I’ve spent 20yrs as an executive assistant all while raising two wonderful young men. Being a mother is the best title I’ve ever achieved however being the right hand in a company is very rewarding as well. So when I was asked to become the VP of Operations for Mikesell’s, I gladly accepted. With my administrative and strong leadership skills I knew I could increase productivity and efficiency within the workplace. The first goal was to bring the company into the technological world with streamlining invoicing, scheduling, inventory control and quality control. I’ve also increased technician salaries and offering performance bonuses. This has empowered the technician to take more pride in their work and be rewarded for such and not just making a sale! This has increased efficiency, accountability and customer service. I strive on excellence and providing a superior service to all our clients as do all our technicians. I believe when a supervisor leads by example, the staff will not only follow but lead in their own right.

I bring 18 yrs of experience being certified IICRC in CCMT, WRT, CCT, UFT and HVAC. I started with ProCare over 2yrs ago and when told the company was being sold, I was concerned. If I could give this company more than five stars I would. Chris came to our home for a whole house carpet clean (we have 3 levels) so there was a lot to clean. The carpet is a few years old and we have kids and pets so there was a bit of a challenge, but you would never believe that looking at the finished product. They were so knowledgeable, not only about carpets, but also gave great tips about our ceramic tile in the kitchen. The owner even came out and gave us free spot cleaner!!! We will never use anything but this product now!! We have used several carpet cleaning places over the years, but we I’ll never have to try again because we have found the best!!
